University Rules. It is Licensee’s and its contractors obligation to become aware of and understand all University rules and regulations related to the operation of Licensee’s business on campus, including without limitation, rules of the road, parking, non-smoking, non- discrimination and non-harassment. University reserves the right to remove any Licensee employee or subcontractor from campus for a violation of such rules.
University Rules. Contractor shall perform the Services and conduct all its operations on Owner’s premises in conformity with all applicable University Rules, including but not limited to, prohibitions related to tobacco use, alcohol, and other drugs. For purposes of this Agreement, "University Rules" means (i) the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System (found at xxxx:// xxxxx://; (ii) the policies of The University of Texas System (found at Policy Library | University of Texas System (; (iii) the institutional rules and regulations and policies of University (which may be found at xxxxx://; and Owner’s Standards of Conduct Traing, which is located at xxxx:// Without limiting the foregoing, Contractor shall comply, and cause its employees, representatives, agents, and subcontractors to comply, with Owner’s rules and policies related to personal health, security, environmental quality, safety, fire prevention, noise, smoking, parking and access restrictions.

Related to University Rules

  • Safety Rules 5.01 The safety rules of the State having jurisdiction shall be observed by the parties hereto. It is recognized that the Employer has the exclusive responsibility for providing a safe and healthful workplace. To assist the Employer in maintaining an effective and continuing safety program, a permanent Joint Safety Committee shall be established, consisting of two (2) members from the Union and two (2) members from the Employers, who shall meet at regular times to administer educational instructions, investigate serious accidents, and to draft appropriate safety rules. Such rules as adopted by this committee, shall become a part of this Agreement.

  • WORK RULES An Appointing Authority may establish and enforce reasonable work rules that are not in conflict with the provisions of this Agreement. Such rules shall be applied and enforced without discrimination. The Appointing Authority shall discuss and, upon request, meet regarding the changes in new or amended work rules with the Local Union, explaining the need therefor, and shall allow the Local Union reasonable opportunity to express its views prior to placing them in effect. Work rules will be labeled as new or amended and shall be posted on appropriate bulletin boards as far in advance of their effective date as practicable.

  • HIPAA Rules “HIPAA Rules” shall mean the Privacy, Security, Breach Notification, and Enforcement Rules at 45 CFR Part 160 and Part 164.

  • Holiday Rules The following rules apply to all holidays except the personal holiday:

  • Privacy Rule “Privacy Rule” shall mean the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information at 45 Code of Federal Regulations Part 160 and Part 164, Subparts A and E.

  • Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act The following clauses apply to any Federal-aid construction contract in an amount in excess of $100,000 and subject to the overtime provisions of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. These clauses shall be inserted in addition to the clauses required by 29 CFR 5.5(a) or 29 CFR 4.6. As used in this paragraph, the terms laborers and mechanics include watchmen and guards.

  • LABOR AND MATERIALS 4.4.1 Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall provide and pay for all labor, materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment and machinery, water, heat, utilities, transportation, and other facilities and services necessary for the proper execution and completion of the Work, whether temporary or permanent and whether or not incorporated or to be incorporated in the Work. Contractor guarantees that materials shall be of the best quality, that work shall be completed in a neat and workmanlike manner, that equipment will be installed in a first class manner, and that all aspects of the project will be delivered in good working order complete and perfect in every respect and that all systems and materials necessary to make the project a complete operating utility as contemplated by the above description of the project is included in the Contract price.

  • CONTRACT WORK HOURS AND SAFETY STANDARDS As per the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701-3708), where applicable, all Customer Purchase Orders in excess of ,000 that involve the employment of mechanics or laborers must include a provision for compliance with 40 U.S.C. 3702 and 3704, as supplemented by Department of Labor regulations (29 CFR Part 5). Under 40 U.S.C. 3702 of the Act, each contractor must be required to compute the wages of every mechanic and laborer on the basis of a standard work week of 40 hours. Work in excess of the standard work week is permissible provided that the worker is compensated at a rate of not less than one and a half times the basic rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the work week. The requirements of 40 U.S.C. 3704 are applicable to construction work and provide that no laborer or mechanic must be required to work in surroundings or under working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous. These requirements do not apply to the purchases of supplies or materials or articles ordinarily available on the open market, or contracts for transportation or transmission of intelligence.

  • Quality Standards Each Party agrees that the nature and quality of its products and services supplied in connection with the other Party's Marks will conform to quality standards set by the other Party. Each Party agrees to supply the other Party, upon request, with a reasonable number of samples of any Materials publicly disseminated by such Party which utilize the other Party's Marks. Each Party will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs and obtain any required government approvals pertaining to use of the other Party's marks.

  • Safety Standards Performance of the Contract for all commodities or contractual services must comply with requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and other applicable State of Florida and federal requirements.
