Common use of Union Stewards Clause in Contracts

Union Stewards. (a) The Employer agrees to recognize Union stewards to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement.

Union Stewards. (a) The Employer agrees to recognize Employees who are appointed as Union stewards Stewards, and recognizes their authority to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreementrepresent other Employees.

(a) The Employer agrees to recognize four (4) Union stewards to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit unit, one of whom shall be a part-time employee and one of whom shall be the Chief Xxxxxxx, who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement.

(a) The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Union stewards plus a Chief Xxxxxxx Union stewards to be elected or appointed selected from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreementbusiness.

The number of stewards shall not exceed two (2).
