UNION PENSION PLAN. Any unit of the university system at which all employees covered by this agreement sign a petition indicating a desire to participate in the union pension plan shall sign the required trust documents and make the designated contributions to the pension plan in lieu of wages. Subsequent increases in the amount of the contribution may be implemented in the same manner. It is understood that the employer’s participation in the union pension plan must be consistent with state and federal law and may be discontinued if it is determined to be unlawful.
UNION PENSION PLAN. Any unit of the University System at which a substantial majority of employees (at least 75%) covered by this agreement desire to participate in the Union Pension Fund shall execute the required trust agreement and make appropriate payment to the fund in lieu of wage. The amount and method of calculating the deduction shall be determined by mutual agreement.
UNION PENSION PLAN. Any unit of the university system at which all employees covered by this agreement desire to participate in the Plumbers and Pipefitters National Pension Fund shall execute the required trust agreement and make appropriate payments to the fund in lieu of wages. Pension plan participation is currently in effect at MSU-Bozeman, The University of Montana-Missoula, and MSU-Xxxxxxxx. After all employees at a unit of the university system have elected to participate in the Plumbers and Pipefitters National Pension Fund, such participation shall be a condition of employment for all employees in that unit until such time as all unit employees indicate a desire to discontinue participation in the Plumbers and Pipefitters National Pension Fund.
UNION PENSION PLAN. The CITY agrees to pay directly to any pension plan designated by any of the UNIONS that are a party to this AGREEMENT an amount specified by the UNION for all hours compensated for by the CITY. This payment shall be in lieu of an equal amount of base pay. UNION pension contribution amounts are noted on Schedule A. It is understood that the Program for Enhanced Early Requirement (PEER) contributions are not taken into consideration for benefit accrual purposes under the Pension Plan according to policies of the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust. Also, the PEER rate must always be 6.5% of the basic pension rate and may not be decreased or discontinued.
UNION PENSION PLAN. In the event that the employees elect as a group to join the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust, the Employer agrees to withhold the designated amounts from the employees’ paychecks as permitted by law to fund their participation in the pension plan. Nothing herein amends the employer or employee rights and obligations under PERS or MEBT.
UNION PENSION PLAN. Effective the date of the opening of the Real Canadian Superstore in Timmins, the Employer contribution to the plan will increase to fifty cents (.50) per hour worked. Effective on the second anniversary of the opening of the Real Canadian Superstore in Timmins, the Employer contribution to the plan will increase to fifty five cents (.55) per hour worked. Effective on the fourth anniversary of the opening of the Real Canadian Superstore Superstore in Timmins, the Employer contribution to the plan will increase to sixty (.60) per hour worked. UNION PENSION PLAN. Each Employer shall contribute to the Local 170 Pension Plan per the schedule below for each hour earned by each employee working under the terms of this Agreement. Effective May 1, 2007- $ 4.50/hr Effective July 4, 2011 - $ 4.75/hr Effective May 1, 2012 - $ 5.00/hr Effective May 25, 2014 - $ 5.25/hr. Operation of this Fund shall be governed by the Trustees of the Pension Plan, such Trustees to be selected in accordance with this Agreement. In the event of compulsory Government Pension Plans, this contribution will be in addition thereto.
