Union Membership Status. To the extent permitted by state and Federal law, an Employee to whom membership in the Union is denied by reason of the failure of such Employee to tender or pay initiation fees and dues uniformly required as a condition of acquiring membership, or whose membership is terminated by the Union for failure to tender or pay periodic dues uniformly required as a condition of retaining membership, shall not be continued in the employ of any Employer under this Agreement.

Union Membership Status. There shall be no discrimination, interference, restraint or coercion by the Employer or the Union against any employee for his lawful activity or inactivity on behalf of, or membership status in the Union.
Union Membership Status. Membership: It shall be a condition of employment that all employees covered by this Agreement who are members of the Union in good standing on the effective date of this Agreement shall remain members in good standing, and those who are not members on the effective date of this Agreement shall, on or before the thirty-first (31st) day following the effective date of this Agreement, become and remain members in good standing in the Union. It shall also be a condition of employment that all employees covered by this Agreement who are hired after its effective date shall, not later than the thirty-first (31st) day following the beginning of such employment, become and remain members in good standing in the Union. All of the foregoing provisions shall be implemented in accordance with, and consistent with, applicable federal and state laws.
Union Membership Status. Employees who do not become members of the Union as required above, or whose membership is terminated by the Union by reason of the failure of the employee to tender or pay initiation fees and periodic dues uniformly required as a condition of acquiring or retaining membership, shall not be continued in the employ of any Employer under this Agreement.
Union Membership Status. Employees shall be deemed to be members of the Union or agency within the meaning of this Section if they are not more than sixty (60) days in arrears in payment of membership dues or service charges.

  • Union Membership Every employee who is now or hereafter becomes a member of the Union shall maintain membership in the Union as a condition of employment, and every new employee whose employment commences hereafter shall, within thirty (30) days after the commencement of employment, apply for and maintain membership in the Union, as a condition of employment, provided that any employee in the appropriate bargaining unit, who is not required to maintain membership or apply for and maintain membership in the Union, shall, as a condition of employment, tender to the Union the periodic dues uniformly required to be paid by the members of the Union.
