UNION MEMBERSHIP/CHECK-OFF. A. All employees who have signed Union membership cards will begin paying uniform membership dues and initiation fees on or after the thirty-first day following either the effective date of the Agreement or the date of the beginning of their membership in the Union, whichever such date shall later occur.

UNION MEMBERSHIP/CHECK-OFF. SECTION 1. It is mutually agreed that as a condition of employment, all employees covered by this Agreement shall become members of the Union after their probationary period and that thereafter as a requisite of continued employment such employees including those presently members of the Union, shall remain members in good standing in the Union. Initiation fees and Union dues shall be remitted to the financial officer of the Union by the Employer.
UNION MEMBERSHIP/CHECK-OFF. 4.01 All regular employees who are Union members at the signing of this agreement shall, as a condition of employment, maintain their Union membership in good standing for the duration of this contract.

In consideration of the deduction and forward- ing service by the Company, the Union agrees to indemnify and serve harmless the Company against any claims or liability arising out of or resulting from the collection and forwarding of the regular weekly dues. Upon commencement of employment, a new employee shall be introduced to the Unit Chairperson or his appointed designate, and the Union and the employee shall be allowed fifteen (15)minutes paid time during regular working hours in order that the employee may be introduced to the Union and its activities.
UNION MEMBERSHIP/CHECK-OFF. It is agreed that all employees in the bargaining unit who are members of the Union on the date of signing of this agreement or who become members of the Union during the life of this agreement shall remain members of the Union as a term of employment. New employees hired in ad design must make application to join the Union prior to the completion of the probationary period. As a condition of employment, the Company shall deduct every two weeks from the wages of each employee covered by this collective agreement, a stated amount to be determined by the local union. Such amount will be determined by Union resolution, a certified copy of which will be remitted to the Company. UNION MEMBERSHIP/CHECK-OFF. (a) Any employee covered by this Agreement shall have the right to become a member of the Union, or not, as he sees fit. Union dues, or deductions in lieu thereof, will be deducted from all employees in the Bargaining Unit who are in receipt of wages from the Employer. The deductions outlined above shall be in such amounts as the Union may advise in writing from time to time. Upon receipt of a written authorization from the Union, the Employer will deduct prepaid dues in such amounts as the authorization may direct.
