Waiver of Constitutional Rights The defendant, by pleading guilty, acknowledges that he has been advised of, understands, and knowingly and voluntarily waives the following rights:
Governing Law; Construction This Agreement and any claim, counterclaim or dispute of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way relating to this Agreement (“Claim”), directly or indirectly, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York. The section headings in this Agreement have been inserted as a matter of convenience of reference and are not a part of this Agreement.
Applicability of Land Use By-law and Subdivision By-law Except as otherwise provided for herein, the development, use and subdivision of the Lands shall comply with the requirements of the Land Use By-law for Halifax Peninsula and the Regional Subdivision By-law, as may be amended from time to time.
Express Rights and Remedies Not Limited The express rights and remedies of the LHIN are in addition to and will not limit any other rights and remedies available to the LHIN at law or in equity. For further certainty, the LHIN has not waived any provision of any applicable statute, including LHSIA, nor the right to exercise its rights under these statutes at any time.

Governing Law; Severability; Rules of Construction This Security Instrument shall be governed by federal law and the law of the jurisdiction in which the Property is located. All rights and obligations contained in this Security Instrument are subject to any requirements and limitations of Applicable Law. Applicable Law might explicitly or implicitly allow the parties to agree by contract or it might be silent, but such silence shall not be construed as a prohibition against agreement by contract. In the event that any provision or clause of this Security Instrument or the Note conflicts with Applicable Law, such conflict shall not affect other provisions of this Security Instrument or the Note which can be given effect without the conflicting provision. As used in this Security Instrument: (a) words of the masculine gender shall mean and include corresponding neuter words or words of the feminine gender; (b) words in the singular shall mean and include the plural and vice versa; and (c) the word “may” gives sole discretion without any obligation to take any action.
and 3 6.3.2. If the two members are unable to agree on a third member of the Commission, or an alternate, then either may refer the matter of appointment to the dispute resolution process under 26.3.0, or, in the absence of that process, to the Supreme Court of the Yukon.
Rights and Remedies are Cumulative Except with respect to rights and remedies expressly declared to be exclusive in this Agreement, the rights and remedies of the parties are cumulative and the exercise by either party of one or more of such rights or remedies shall not preclude the exercise by it, at the same or different times, of any other rights or remedies for the same default or any other default by the other party.
and H 9. These requirements cover minimum-security standards for select Contractor systems, the handling of Government sensitive data and information technology, Contractor security clearances, and Homeland Security.
