Union Access to Workplace Clause Samples
The Union Access to Workplace clause grants union representatives the right to enter an employer's premises for purposes related to union activities, such as meeting with employees, investigating workplace conditions, or ensuring compliance with labor agreements. Typically, this access is subject to reasonable notice requirements and may be limited to certain areas or times to avoid disrupting business operations. The core function of this clause is to facilitate effective communication between the union and its members, while balancing the employer's need to maintain order and productivity in the workplace.
Union Access to Workplace. A staff representative of the Union (“Representative’) may, after notifying the City official in charge, visit the work location of employees covered by this Agreement at any reasonable time for the purpose of investigating grievances. Such Representative shall limit his or her activities during such investigations to a reasonable period of time and to matters relating to this Agreement. City work hours shall not be used by employees or Representative(s) for the conduct of Union business or the promotion of Union affairs.
Union Access to Workplace. In accordance with the Employment Relations Act 2000, a Union representative may enter the premises of The Selwyn Foundation to conduct business.
Union Access to Workplace. The Business Representative of Local 798 or a duly authorized representative shall have access to the theatre at all reasonable times for the purpose of performing legitimate union business.
