Common use of Undercharging and Overcharging Clause in Contracts

Undercharging and Overcharging. 7.1 If the Retailer undercharges the Customer for any reason (including where the meter is found to be defective), the Retailer would require the Customer to make a correcting payment and the Retailer may offer the option to make the correcting payment by instalments. The extended time to pay will match the amount of time the Retailer has undercharged for. No interest will be levied on the amount undercharged.
