Common use of Unauthorized Disclosure Clause in Contracts

Unauthorized Disclosure. Firm will notify Citizens as soon as possible of any potential or actual unauthorized disclosure, misuse, or misappropriation of Citizens Confidential Information of which it becomes aware and will cooperate in remedying such situation promptly. Pursuant to Section 501.171, Florida Statutes, if Firm maintains computerized data that includes personal information, as defined in such statute, on behalf of Citizens, Firm shall disclose to Citizens any breach of the security of the system as soon as practicable, but no later than ten (10) business days following the determination of the breach of security or reason to believe the breach occurred.
