UL Approved Clause Samples

The "UL Approved" clause requires that certain products, components, or equipment used or supplied under the agreement must be certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), a recognized safety certification organization. In practice, this means that only items bearing the UL mark, indicating they have passed specific safety and quality tests, are acceptable for use or installation. This clause ensures that all relevant materials meet established safety standards, thereby reducing the risk of hazards and ensuring compliance with regulatory or industry requirements.
