TUITION AID Sample Clauses

TUITION AID. The Employer agrees to maintain its assistance for employees attending institutions of higher learning in accordance with the policies and procedures established for the Middlesex County Tuition Aid Program, subject to the availability of existing funds. Employees will be reimbursed up to eighty percent (80%) of tuition and fees. Maximum reimbursement may not exceed six hundred dollars ($600.00) per employee during any one twelve (12) month period beginning September 1st and ending August 31st.

TUITION AID. The Company agrees to continue its employee tuition program for the life of the Collective Agreement. JOINT ORIENTATION PROGRAM The program as established will continue through the life of this Agreement. Any revisions to the program will be limited to those subjects agreed to by the Company and Union. The program does not limit any other communication Management with its employees or the Union with its members and the program will not be subject to the Grievance procedure. Subject to Part I of the Income Tax Act, an employee’s income for a taxation year from employment is the wages and other remuneration received by in the year.
TUITION AID. A. The Judiciary shall fund a Tuition Aid/Educational Enhancement Fund in an amount of not less than $25,000 for the first fiscal year (fiscal year 2021), during the term of the contract (to be shared by both JCAU bargaining units). Unused funds shall not rollover to the next fiscal year. For the second (fiscal year 2022) and third (fiscal year 2023) fiscal years of the contract, the Fund shall be in an amount of not less than $30,000 per fiscal year. If the total usage of the Fund in fiscal years 2022 and 2023 is less than eighty- five percent (85%) of the total allotted amount of the Fund for the final fiscal year (fiscal year 2024) will be reduced by $5,000 (reverting back to the original amount of $25,000). The approval process to participate in this program will be at management’s discretion and approval will not be unreasonably denied. The JCAU Chairperson will receive a Tuition Aid Reimbursement Report on July 15 for the prior fiscal year.
TUITION AID. Tuition aid as outlined below is available from a minimum of $10,000 in any contract year for all regular bargaining unit employees who attend TTC work related self-improvement courses and have completed 12 months of continuous service. It is authorized only when there is a recognized mutual benefit to both the employee and the Commission. A maximum reimbursement of $2,000 per calendar year cannot be exceeded by any one bargaining unit employee.
