Trimming and Edging. A. Hand held mechanical trimming and edging shall be performed around all paved areas, including curbs, sidewalks, parking lots, driveways and streets to include asphalt, concrete, and etc. as well as around planter beds, trees, plants and buildings at the time of mowing.

Grass will be trimmed at the same height as adjacent turf is mowed, and as needed to remove all grass leaves from around all obstacles and vertical surfaces in the turf such as posts, play equipment, water fountains, grills, benches, picnic tables, trees, walls, cement medians. Berms shall be trimmed with a small trim mower only. Contractor shall use special care when trimming around trees to avoid damage to bark surface and/or the living cambium layer beneath, and when trimming around sprinkler heads and other irrigation system fixtures to assure their proper water delivery function. Trimming around fire hydrants is mandatory on all rights-of-way maintained by the Contractor. Area around fire hydrants shall be cleared sufficient to connect fire hoses.

Trimming and Edging. Trim around walls, buildings, curbs, header boards, valve boxes, quick couplers, and paved areas on a weekly basis to present a neat, clean appearance. Failure to adhere to this specification shall result in a $100 Performance Deficiency Deduction per site, per occurrence. Chemically edge (tree well) around trees within an 18” radius from the trunk using care not to damage tree trunk or roots. At no time will chemical edging be allowed on anything other than tree xxxxx unless directed otherwise in writing by the City.

Grass along sidewalks will be edged once monthly during mowing to keep grass from encroaching onto the sidewalks and to convey a neat and orderly appearance. Care should be taken during trimming activities to prevent damage to shrubs, trees, other plants and posts. The contractor will be responsible for replacement of trees and shrubs damaged by negligence IAW FAR. 52.237-2, Protection of Government Buildings, Equipment and Vegetation.

  • GAG AND EAG 4.1 The Secretary of State agrees to pay GAG and EAG to the Company in relation to the Academy in accordance with the Master Agreement.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation a. The AGENCY shall expeditiously provide to the COUNTY upon request, all data needed for the purpose of monitoring, evaluating and/or auditing the program(s).   • Monitoring and Compliance Every year during the term of this Agreement on the anniversary date of the effective date of the Agreement, the Restaurant shall provide to the United States a narrative report of the actions taken during the reporting period to remove any barriers to access and otherwise enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities at the Restaurant and any plans for action concerning ADA compliance in the coming year. The report shall include as an exhibit copies of any complaint, whether formal or informal, received during the reporting period alleging that the Restaurant was not being operated in compliance with the ADA or otherwise discriminated against any person on account of disability. The Owner and Operator of the Restaurant shall cooperate in good faith with any and all reasonable requests by the United States for access to the Restaurant and for information and documents concerning the Restaurant's compliance with this Agreement and the ADA. The United States shall have the right to verify compliance with this Agreement and the ADA, both as set forth in this Agreement and through any means available to the general public, including visits to the public areas of the Restaurant and communications with Restaurant staff. The United States shall have the right to inspect the facility at any time, and counsel for the United States need not identify themselves in the course of visits to the public areas.

  • Arrangements for Payment of GAG and EAG 57) The Secretary of State shall notify the Company at a date preceding the start of each Academy Financial Year of the GAG and EAG figures in respect of each Academy which, subject to Parliamentary approval, the Secretary of State plans for that Academy Financial Year and of the assumptions and figures on which these are based.

  • Felling and Bucking Felling shall be done to minimize breakage of Included Timber and dam- age to residual timber. Unless agreed otherwise, felling shall be done by saws or shears. Bucking shall be done to permit removal of all minimum pieces set forth in A2. Purchaser may buck out cull material when necessary to produce pieces meeting Utilization Standards. Such bucked out material shall contain a minimum amount of sound wood, not in excess of the net scale in percentage of gross scale, or based on the merchantability factor, whichever is stated in A2. If necessary to assess extent of defect, Purchaser shall make sample saw cuts or wedges. B6.411 Felling in Clearings. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.000 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.

  • Monitoring and Reporting 3.1 The Contractor shall provide workforce monitoring data as detailed in paragraph 3.2 of this Schedule 8. A template for data collected in paragraphs 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 will be provided by the Authority. Completed templates for the Contractor and each Sub-contractor will be submitted by the Contractor with the Diversity and Equality Delivery Plan within six (6) Months of the Commencement Date and annually thereafter. Contractors are required to provide workforce monitoring data for the workforce involved in delivery of the Contract. Data relating to the wider Contractor workforce and wider Sub-contractors workforce would however be well received by the Authority. Contractors and any Sub-contractors are required to submit percentage figures only in response to paragraphs 3.2(a), 3.2(b) and 3.2(c).
