Two items of text placed between "\"'s are displayed or not depending upon the signs of the current and comparative figures. If there is a debit and a credit then both options are included in the form "Loss/(Profit) on disposal". See also Layout Rules. C/F (Carry-forward account code) This is only displayed if “Include carry-forward and lock columns” is checked on the dropdown menu of Trial Balance on the Top Menu. Some accounts have to be combined at the year-end, eg asset cost less disposals plus additions. The number of the account code into which the current entry is to be transferred is placed in this column. Account codes to be combined in this way must be adjacent to each other. Brought-forward codes must be first and any calculated codes last in the list. In addition, P&L account codes which have the same rounding as an equivalent Balance Sheet code require the Balance Sheet code number to be present in the C/F column preceded by an equals sign.
