Treasurer’s Bond. If required by the Management Directors, the Treasurer and any Assistant Treasurer shall give the Company a bond in such sum and with such surety or sureties as shall be satisfactory to the Management Directors for the faithful performance of the duties of his office and for the restoration to the Company, in case of his death, resignation, retirement or removal from office, of all books, papers, vouchers, money and other property of whatever kind in his possession or under his control belonging to the Company.

Treasurer’s Bond. In the event that there is no treasurer’s bond that expressly insures the Agency against loss resulting from the fraudulent, illegal, negligent, or otherwise wrongful or unauthorized acts or conduct by or on the part of any person authorized to sign checks, drafts, warrants, or other instruments in writing, there shall be procured and filed with the secretary of the Agency, together with the written authorization filed with the secretary, a surety bond, effective for protection against the loss, in such form and penal amount and with such corporate surety as shall be approved in writing by the signed endorsement thereon of any two officers of the Agency other than the treasurer.

Treasurer’s Bond. Revised 6/26/14 As required by Section 3-19 of the Illinois Public Community College Act (110 ILCS 850/3-19), the College Treasurer shall, before entering upon his or her duties, execute a bond with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Illinois, payable to the Board of Trustees and conditioned upon the faithful discharge of the Treasurer’s duties. The amount of the bond shall be 25% of the amount of all funds of which the Treasurer is to have custody, and shall be increased or decreased from time to time as the increase of decrease of the amount of funds in the Treasurer’s custody may require. The bond must be approved by a majority of the Board of Trustees, and must be filed with the Illinois Community College Board. A copy of the bond must also be filed with the county clerk of each county in which any part of the College District is situated.

If no Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer is appointed and serving or in the absence of the appointed Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, a President or such other Officer as the Board shall select, shall have the powers and duties conferred upon the Treasurer.

  • Assistant Secretaries The assistant secretaries in order of their seniority, shall, in the absence or disability of the secretary, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the secretary and shall perform such other duties as the Board of Trustees or the chief executive officer shall prescribe.

  • Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer The Treasurer shall have the custody of the Company funds and securities and shall keep full and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursements in books belonging to the Company and shall deposit all moneys and other valuable effects in the name and to the credit of the Company in such depositories as may be designated by the Board. The Treasurer shall disburse the funds of the Company as may be ordered by the Board, taking proper vouchers for such disbursements, and shall render to the President and to the Board, at its regular meetings or when the Board so requires, an account of all of the Treasurer’s transactions and of the financial condition of the Company. The Assistant Treasurer, or if there shall be more than one, the Assistant Treasurers in the order determined by the Board (or if there be no such determination, then in the order of their election), shall, in the absence of the Treasurer or in the event of the Treasurer’s inability to act, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Treasurer and shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board may from time to time prescribe.

  • Assistant Treasurer The assistant treasurer shall in the absence or disability of the treasurer, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the treasurer and shall perform such other duties as the Board of Trustees or the chief executive officer may from time to time prescribe.

  • Secretaries 1. All full-time secretaries shall work seven and one-half (7½) hours per day which includes one-half (½) hour lunch period. Hours shall be set by the Board of Education.

  • Secretary and Assistant Secretaries The secretary shall record all proceedings of the shareholders and the Trustees in books to be kept therefor, which books shall be kept at the principal office of the Trust. In the absence of the secretary from any meeting of shareholders or Trustees, an assistant secretary, or if there be none or he or she is absent, a temporary clerk chosen at the meeting shall record the proceedings thereof in the aforesaid books.
