Travel Risks. Certain risks are involved in travel. While LLUH has taken reasonable and prudent steps to reduce foreseeable risks, significant risk may exist for personal injury, death, or property damaged related to my participation on this trip. I understand that travel risks include, but are not limited to: accidents that may happen while traveling, including provided transportation, carpools, bicycles, and walking; risks associated with riots, civil commotion or disobedience, hijacking, kidnapping for xxxxxx, risks associated with criminal, political or terrorist activity, unrest or danger; risks associated with the preparation and consumption of food and water; risks associated with infections, tropical, parasitic and other diseases, viruses or bacteria, and bites; perils of extreme weather and acts of God including but not limited to earthquake, fire, flood, tornado, hurricane, tsunami, and avalanche; the dangers of falling from high places, possible failed rescue attempts; the dangers of being lost; the possibility of being exposed to extreme temperatures for long periods; the possibility of serious physical, pain, mental trauma, or death, with medical attention several hours to several days away. I understand that any type of travel may involve risk of loss, delays, changes in the means of transportation or in the performance of other services due to sickness, vehicle accidents, strikes, wars, natural disasters, pickpockets, official corruption, or other unforeseen causes or unfortunate outcomes; perils of extreme weather and acts of God, including but not limited to earthquake, fire, flood, tornado, hurricane, tsunami, and avalanche; and intentional or unwitting travel into areas with hazard of criminal, political or terrorist activity, unrest or danger.
Travel Risks. Goods sent by rail, unless agreed otherwise, travels on the behalf and at the risk of the Buyer.
Travel Risks. The safety of our travellers is of utmost priority to us. We commit to providing proper duty of care, strict operational standards and risk assessment plans. You acknowledge that participation in ADRA Connections trips involves inherent risks, as it operates trips in regions where standards of transport, accommodation, safety, hygiene, medical facilities and other infrastructure may differ from the standard at home. These risks include, without limitation, the possibility of disease, injury or death, psychological trauma, loss/damage to property, discomfort and inconvenience. ADRA Australia uses information from its local country offices, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, International SOS and xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx to assess and manage risks and to keep participants safe while abroad. ADRA also conducts orientation programs to ensure that teams are well informed to travel safely. It is the team leader’s responsibility to ensure risks are communicated to all team members prior to departure. If a critical incident occurs, you are responsible for liaising with ADRA Host to help manage the situation.
Travel Risks. I understand and agree that my Child may travel by van, bus, and car, and I am aware of and accept the risks of the foregoing travel methods.

  • Travel Policy Section 1. Travel allowances and reimbursements, including meal, lodging and transportation expenses, shall be as provided in the Department of Administrative Services, Oregon Accounting Manual Travel Policy (OAM #40.10.00.PO). However, Section .105 of the policy shall read as follows: Personal telephone calls to immediate family members or significant others to confirm the traveler’s well being while on travel status are allowed. Employees shall be reimbursed for one (1) phone call home on the first day of travel and every other day for a five (5) to ten (10) minute call. When authorized by the Agency, employees will be provided access to State phone cards or State phone card numbers. When State phone cards are not available or the employee does not charge the call to his/her hotel room, employees shall provide receipts. Personal telephone bills reflecting the eligible calls made during travel status can serve as a receipt. The Employer shall give the Union at least thirty (30) days advance notice of any proposed changes to this policy. Such changes which involve a mandatory subject of bargaining shall be subject to negotiation if requested by the Union.

  • Builder’s Risk Insurance Contractor shall provide a Builder’s Risk Policy to be made payable to the Owner and Contractor, as their interests may appear. The policy amount should be equal to 100% of the Contract Sum, written on a Builder’s Risk “All Risk”, or its equivalent. The policy shall be endorsed as follows: The following may occur without diminishing, changing, altering or otherwise affecting the coverage and protection afforded the insured under this policy: (i) Furniture and equipment may be delivered to the insured premises and installed in place ready for use; and (ii) Partial or complete occupancy by Owner; and (iii) Performance of work in connection with construction operations insured by the Owner, by agents or lessees or other Contractors of the Owner or Using Agency In the event that the Contract is for renovation, addition or modification of an existing structure and Builders Risk Insurance is not available, the Owner will accept an Installation Floater Insurance Policy with the above endorsements in lieu of the Builders' Risk Insurance Policy. Such floater must insure loss to materials and equipment prior to acceptance by Owner and must be on an ALL RISK BASIS with the policy written on a specific job site.

  • Travel Insurance The Employer shall provide and pay the full cost for travel insurance to cover all members of the bargaining unit for all modes of travel, in the amount of $200,000.00. The travel insurance policy shall also cover employees while on union business.

  • Insurance and Risk of Loss Debtor shall at all times bear all risk of loss of, damage to or destruction of the Equipment. Debtor agrees to immediately procure and maintain insurance on the Equipment, for the full insurable value thereof and for the life of this Agreement, in the form of "All Risk" or similar insurance (insuring the Equipment for fire, extended coverage, vandalism, theft and collision and containing only those exclusions from coverage which are acceptable to Secured Party) plus such other insurance as Secured Party may specify from time to time, all in form and amount and with insurers satisfactory to Secured Party. Debtor agrees to deliver promptly to Secured Party certificates or, if requested, policies of insurance satisfactory to Secured Party, each with a standard long-form loss-payable endorsement naming Secured Party or assigns as loss-payee and providing that Secured Party's rights under such policy will not be invalidated by any act, omission or neglect of anyone other than Secured Party, and containing the insurer's agreement to give 30 days prior written notice to Secured Party before any cancellation of or material change in the policy(s) will be effective as to Secured Party, whether such cancellation or change is at the direction of Debtor or insurer. Secured Party's acceptance of policies in lesser amounts or risks will not be a waiver of Debtor's obligation to procure insurance complying with the provisions hereof promptly after notice from Secured Party. Debtor assigns to Secured Party all proceeds of any physical damage or credit insurance for which a charge is stated in this Agreement or which is maintained by Debtor in accordance herewith, including returned and unearned premiums, up to the amount owing hereunder by Debtor. Secured Party will not have the right to cancel any such insurance without Debtor's consent prior to the occurrence of an event of default and the repossession, loss or destruction of the Equipment. Debtor directs all insurers to pay such proceeds solely to the order of Secured Party for application to Debtor's indebtedness to Secured Party. Secured Party may, at its option, apply any such proceeds received by Secured Party to the final maturing installments due hereunder in the inverse order of their maturity.

  • Commercial Automobile Insurance If the Grantee’s duties include the use of a commercial vehicle, the Grantee shall maintain automobile liability, bodily injury, and property damage coverage. Insuring clauses for both bodily injury and property damage shall provide coverage on an occurrence basis. The Department, its employees, and officers shall be named as an additional insured on any automobile insurance policy. The minimum limits shall be as follows: $200,000/300,000 Automobile Liability for Company-Owned Vehicles, if applicable $200,000/300,000 Hired and Non-owned Automobile Liability Coverage

  • Passengers THE CARRIER shall be liable for damages resulting from death or bodily injury to a Passenger by the sole reason that the act which caused the damages took place on board the aircraft or during boarding or deboarding the aircraft.

  • Insurance; Risk of Loss (a) In the event the Buyer provides written notice to the Seller of a claim asserted in connection with the Business after the Closing arising out of an occurrence taking place on or prior to the Closing or with respect to facts, circumstances or conditions that arose or existed on or prior to the Closing (“Post-Closing Claims”), the Seller shall use commercially reasonable efforts to obtain recoveries under any applicable occurrence-based insurance policies maintained by the Seller that covered the Business to the extent such insurance coverage exists and provides coverage and shall pay to the Buyer any net proceeds recovered thereunder; provided, that the Buyer shall (i) be responsible for the satisfaction or payment of any and all associated self-retentions, deductibles, costs and expenses with respect to any Post-Closing Claim and (ii) the Buyer shall reasonably cooperate with the Seller with respect to the tendering of any such claims including providing notices, information and backup materials as may be necessary in connection therewith. (b) The Seller agrees that with respect to any act, omission, event or occurrence that results in a material liability relating to any Purchased Asset that first occurs, and that the Seller first becomes aware of, during the period beginning on the date hereof and ending as of the Closing that is covered by insurance policies under which the applicable Purchased Asset is insured prior to the Closing, (i) the Seller shall promptly notify the Buyer of the occurrence of such event, and (ii) the Seller shall promptly make claims under such policies in respect of such act, omission, event, occurrence or liability, subject to the terms and conditions of such policies, and, to the extent any insurance proceeds are received by the Seller in respect of such claims, then the Seller shall (but conditioned upon the occurrence of the Closing), promptly after the Seller’s receipt thereof, remit to the Buyer the amount of such proceeds (net of any deductibles or expenses), less any amounts thereof actually paid to third parties who perform repairs or other similar work in connection with restoring the applicable Purchased Asset to its prior condition.

  • Commercial Automobile Liability Insurance During the term of this Contract, Supplier will maintain insurance covering all owned, hired, and non-owned automobiles in limits of liability not less than indicated below. The coverage must be subject to terms no less broad than ISO Business Auto Coverage Form CA 0001 (2010 edition or newer), or equivalent. Minimum Limits: $1,000,000 each accident, combined single limit

  • Alcohol Policy Where contractually bound, the employer will apply the Drug and Alcohol Management Program (DAMP) as contained at Appendix M.

  • All Risk Property Insurance (i) During construction, an All Risk Property insurance policy including earthquake and flood (with sublimits as appropriate) shall be maintained during the course of Work being performed and include Start-up and testing for installed equipment and delayed opening coverage. Such policy shall include coverage for materials and equipment while under the care, custody and control of the Seller during the course of Work, at the Site, offsite or while in transit to the Site.
