Travel Days. 1Travel to and from the Work Location at the beginning and end of a Leave Period will not constitute work and the Employee is not entitled to any additional days of leave or any additional compensation, except as provided for in paragraph 2 below, in respect of such travel days. 2The Company will recognise up to a maximum of two (2) travel days per trip (excluding surface transportation in the Employee’s country of domicile) at the commencement and termination of the employment, for each period of mandatory leave, authorised training courses and business trips. Such travel days shall be reported in the monthly timesheet and compensated (at the Daily Remuneration Rate as per Annex 1, article 4.2(c)), but shall not affect the Work/Leave Rotation Cycle.
Travel Days. For any day of the week the Employee is required to travel, exclusive of other work performed, to a location outside of the provincial Home Zone, the Employee shall receive a four (4) hour minimum call as a travel allowance; if such travel time is over four (4) hours, then the Employee shall receive the actual travel time to the location and full per diem as per section 19.
Travel Days. In instances where the Employee must travel more than 250 miles to attend the funeral, additional paid time off may be granted up to a maximum of two additional days. At the Employee’s supervisor’s discretion, one day on either side of the three consecutive days off with pay if they are also consecutive work days. Days off with pay are paid based on the Employee’s assigned work schedule (i.e. if an employee is scheduled for 10 hour days then he/she would receive 10 hours of pay for each full day of leave taken). Supervisors should consult with their assigned Human Resources Business Partner as needed in such cases.
Travel Days. Travel days will be a minimum four hour call at straight time unless travel exceeds four hours, in which case the minimum call will be eight hours at straight time or actual time spent traveling if more than eight hours. The second consecutive day of travel will be at double time using the same four hour or eight-hour minimum call criteria. Per diems will be thirty dollars ($30) on a four-hour call and full per diem on an eight-hour call. Travel day pay on Statutory Holidays will be at two and one-half (2 ½) times the Employee’s rate. Individual requests that transportation be provided by the Company will not be unreasonably refused. Travel only days will not be considered workdays. (Note: this provision sets forth minimum travel allowance payments – not minimum call times.)
Travel Days. Successive 24-hour periods between the time you first arrive at an international border of a country outside your country of residence, and the time you next arrive at an international border of a country within your area of cover.
Travel Days. 22.01 Every Full-time Employee is entitled to four (4) extra paid days annually for travelling time in conjunction with the Employee’s vacation.
22.02 Every Part-time Employee is entitled to two (2) extra paid days annually for travelling time in conjunction with the Employee’s vacation.
Travel Days. Travel days, exclusive of other work performed, shall be paid at the Employee’s minimum call for each travel day inclusive of the sixth or seventh day of the week. If this travel occurs on a Statutory or Proclaimed Holiday, the payments under this Section will be paid as per Article 16. Employees shall receive full per diem as described in Section 19.5 on travel days.
Travel Days. An additional six days of noncumulative travel leave shall be attached to the beginning and/or end of any recreation leave in any twelve month period in recognition of the fact that employees who are not on-call are sometimes called upon to assist their colleagues or undertake other duties on behalf of the organisation. These Travel Days are to be taken with ARL and only two Travel Days will be allowed for each ARL period.
Travel Days a. All travel days, consisting of less than 5 hours travel time will be paid at the rate of one half of the 10 hr rate.
b. Travel days that consist of more than 5 hours travel time, door to door, will be paid at the rate of a full 10-hour rate.
Travel Days. Employees working in areas 2-3 are entitled to extra leave annually as listed in the table below. These days shall be referred to as Travel Days and can only be taken in conjunction with a period of leave. They will not accrue from year to year and do not attract leave loading.
