Travel Between Buildings. Teachers who are regularly required to travel between the District’s High Schools as a result of being at both District High Schools on the same day for their regular school day assignments (excluding co-curricular assignments) shall be reimbursed for travel between such high schools at the rate of $110 per semester.

Travel Between Buildings. A teacher whose regular assignment involves travel between two (2) or more buildings shall be paid a base amount of $100.00 or mileage, whichever is greater. Any amount due and payable under this program is to be paid in two (2) installments.

Employees required in the course of their work and having prior administrative authorization to drive personal automobiles from one (1) school building to another shall be reimbursed as provided below. Travel Between Buildings. For teachers required to work in more than one building as part of their teaching assignment, a minimum of ten (10) minutes will be scheduled to allow for travel. This time will not be considered as preparatory or non- instructional time.
Travel Between Buildings. Full-time teachers, (including part-time teachers who may be full-time for that day) who are required to travel between buildings during some part of their lunch period or planning period in the course of their employment shall be paid a $1,000 stipend per year pro-rated according to the number of days traveled or shall be guaranteed a lunch period and a professional planning period (i.e. travel between schools one day/week = $200/year). In addition, employees shall be compensated for their travel between buildings at the mileage rate established by New Jersey Statute.
