The Transportation/Parking clause outlines the terms and conditions related to the use of transportation services and parking facilities provided or permitted by a party, typically in the context of an event, workplace, or leased premises. It may specify whether parking spaces are available, any associated fees, rules for use, and responsibilities for damages or loss. This clause ensures that both parties understand their rights and obligations regarding transportation access and parking, thereby preventing disputes and clarifying logistical arrangements.
Transportation/Parking.
(1) Safe, reasonable, and adequate circulation systems should be provided to, through or over shorelines where necessary and otherwise consistent with the City’s Shoreline Master Program.
(2) Circulation systems should include systems for pedestrian, bicycle, and public transportation where appropriate.
Transportation/Parking. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current district rate. If more than one teacher attends a meeting or convention, the travel allowance will be shared by those incurring expenses unless it is air travel. Parking fees shall be reimbursed, with supporting receipts, at a rate not to exceed eight dollars ($8.00) per day.

Transportation and parking facilities and routes must be planned, located, and designed to have the least possible adverse effect on unique or fragile shoreline features, to not result in a net loss of shoreline ecological functions, and to not adversely impact existing or planned water-dependent uses.
A. Where other options are available and feasible, new roads or road expansions shall not be built within shoreline jurisdiction.
B. Crossings shall occur as near to perpendicular with the waterbody as possible, unless an alternate path would minimize disturbance of native vegetation or result in avoidance of other critical areas such as wetlands.
Transportation/Parking a. Transportation will be provided by the Employer on all jobs where parking is not available within six (6) blocks of the jobsite. Travel to the workstation or jobshack will be on the Employee's time, travel out will be on the Employer’s time. Assembly points and other applicable issues will be defined in the pre-job meeting.
b. On jobs where the Employer provides organized transportation, the travel to the workstation or job shack will be on the Employee's time. Travel out will be on the Employer's time.
c. Where free parking is not available within four (4) blocks of the jobsite, yet pay parking is available, the Employer will reimburse the Employee for parking. The Employer may require receipts. Reimbursement of receipts shall occur within 14 calendar days following submittal of receipts.

a. Free Zone - Local 290 will dispatch Employees to a twenty (20) mile free zone radius from the Post Office in the center of the below listed cities: Klamath Falls Coos Bay Eugene Bend (commercial only) Salem Portland Eureka (commercial only) Medford Note; Any additional geographical area awarded to Local 290 by the United Association shall become part of this jurisdiction.
b. Jobsites within twenty (20) miles of the city center of the above listed cities will be manned with no travel or subsistence pay.

e. All travel time during the normal work day shall be paid at the Employee's normal rate of pay. Travel time outside of the normal work day shall be paid at the Employee's straight time wage rate only, excluding fringe benefits, not to exceed eight (8) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period.
f. All transportation or car fare (IRS current rating) during working hours must be furnished by the Employer. This fare is considered taxable to the Employee. All vehicles furnished by the Employer are to be adequately insured. No Employee shall be allowed to use his/her own motor vehicle for the transportation of tools or material of the trade.
g. All job-related expenses of Employees incurred in the performance of their on- the-job duties shall be paid for by the Employer, i.e., telephone calls, bridge tolls...
Transportation/Parking. The project team will summarize the results of the transportation analysis performed on the preferred Framework Plan and describe the transportation improvements that will be necessary to support implementation of the Framework Plan. The recommendations will encompass the following areas: • District Street Plan, including street locations and types, right-of-way widths, and street cross sections • Transportation access/portal improvements to State Street, including a potential “north portal” for the District • Pedestrian and bicycle facilities • Potential “trigger points” for certain transportation improvements that will be necessary to accommodate increased growth • Traffic mitigation requirements for downtown and adjacent neighborhoods to the District • Parking ratios by use type (e.g., residential, office, retail, etc.) 5.2.6 Streetcar Integration of the Streetcar within the Framework Plan will be critical to the ultimate success of redevelopment efforts. Given the fact that the Streetcar ▇▇▇▇ is on an earlier timeline than the Framework Plan process, this work will be accelerated in order to coordinate plan recommendations with the ▇▇▇▇ process. To the extent that it is necessary, alternative streetcar alignments and/or stop and terminus locations in the District may be recommended and forwarded to the Streetcar team for inclusion in the ▇▇▇▇ process. It may be necessary for a Supplemental ▇▇▇▇ be performed in order to accommodate streetcar recommendations emerging from the Framework Plan, and it is worth noting that neither the Framework Plan Project Budget or the ▇▇▇▇ Budget currently accommodates this Supplemental ▇▇▇▇ scope of work. Following establishment of a final Streetcar alignment and stop locations, the project team will provide recommendations on the following Streetcar elements: • Stop design, including pedestrian access to and from stops • Landscape treatment along the Streetcar alignment in the District • Park and Ride locations in the District (if any), including conceptual design demonstrating how parking can be incorporated in a manner consistent with the Framework Plan and community concerns
Transportation/Parking. Management and the Chapter have agreed that faculty members may be required to pay a fee for on-campus parking. If Management contemplates any changes in the amount of the parking fee, Management will establish a Joint Committee consisting of equal representation among the administration, non-bargaining staff, and the faculty to review any such proposed changes and make recommendations with respect to such proposed change. If an increase is recommended by the Joint Committee, up to a maximum increase in the parking fee of $15.00 per year, not to exceed an increase of $30.00 over any three (3)-year period, it will be accepted by the Chapter without further need for negotiation. Any proposed or recommended increase in the parking fee beyond those set forth in the preceding sentence shall be subject to negotiation between the Chapter and Management with subsequent ratification of any tentative agreement by both parties. Faculty who work at only off-campus sites where only public parking is available are required only to pay the established parking fee for that academic year if they park on a campus (i.e., use other-than public lots).
