Common use of Transport Allowance Clause in Contracts

Transport Allowance. An employee employed as a shift worker at an airport will be paid a transport allowance of $6.04 for each ordinary shift worked which commences or finishes after 7.00 p.m. and before 7.00 a.m. An employee employed at an airport will be paid a transport allowance of $6.04 if the employee works overtime between 7.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m. and the overtime is continuous with their normal hours of duty. An employee is not entitled to a transport allowance if the employee is provided with transport; or the employee is reimbursed for transport.
