Transition Plans for Students. 1. Teacher/licensed professionals of a student who enters class with a current known Behavior Support Plan will be notified before the student’s first day. A copy of the most recent BSP will be provided to the teacher/licensed professional as a part of notification.
2. If the behavior is not known at the time the student first enters the class, the teacher/licensed professional of the student will be notified, as soon as possible, of the information received. Rules regarding student confidentiality will be observed.
Transition Plans for Students. 1. When parents notify the District of a student's medical issues, the District will make every effort to notify affected members on a need-to-know basis unless such notification is contrary to applicable laws.
2. New students with behavior problems or medical concerns will be staffed before a permanent placement is made. The District retains the right to make the final decision regarding placement.
