TRANSITION AND PROGRESSION Sample Clauses
The "Transition and Progression" clause outlines the procedures and requirements for moving from one phase or stage of an agreement, project, or relationship to the next. Typically, this clause specifies the criteria that must be met before progression is allowed, such as completion of deliverables, achievement of milestones, or approval from relevant parties. For example, in a construction contract, it may detail how work must be inspected and accepted before the contractor can proceed to the next phase. The core function of this clause is to ensure orderly advancement through the stages of an agreement, providing clear checkpoints and reducing the risk of disputes over readiness or performance.
