Transit Insurance. With respect to any Delivery made pursuant to Section 5.2 only, the Seller shall provide insurance covering all risks of loss to any Major Components, Equipment or Units during loading and during transit by air, sea or otherwise from the place of manufacture until Delivery to the relevant Site with sublimits sufficient to insure the full replacement value of such Major Component(s), Unit(s) or Equipment. With respect to any Delivery made pursuant to Section 5.3, the Seller shall not be responsible for transit insurance. Such insurance shall provide coverage during loading the Equipment on any collecting transport and shall include Seller as loss payee.

Transit Insurance. 18.1 ISRPL shall take a transit insurance cover as may be required giving full cover against all risks during the transportation Agreement, except for damage caused due to Willful misconduct, Ordinary leakage, loss, Default of Truck owners, Loss damage or expense arising from the use of any weapon of war. In the event of loss/damage/pilferage of goods due to these, Service Provider shall be liable to make good the losses/damages. However, if the Insurance agency rejects the claim due to any reason whatsoever; the claim amount will be debited to Carrier.

Transit Insurance. Transit insurance coverage between vendor’s works and project site shall be to the account of BHEL, unless specifically agreed otherwise. However, vendor shall send intimation directly to insurance agency (as mentioned in dispatch instructions issued by BHEL) through fax/courier/e-mail, immediately on dispatch of goods for covering insurance. A copy of such intimation sent by vendor to insurance agency shall be given to BHEL along with dispatch documents. Dispatch documents will be treated as incomplete without such intimation copy. BHEL shall not be responsible for sending intimations to insurance agency on behalf of the vendor.
Transit Insurance. With respect to any Delivery made pursuant to Section 5.2 only, the Seller shall provide insurance covering all risks of physical loss or damage to any Major Components, Equipment or Units during loading and during transit by air, sea or otherwise from the place of manufacture until Delivery, not unloaded, to the earlier of (i) shipment to storage, (ii) the Closest Common Carrier Point to the Site, or (iii) Buyer directed staging or lay-down area with sublimits sufficient to insure the full replacement value of such Major Component(s), Unit(s) or Equipment. With respect to any Shipment made pursuant to Section 5.3, the Seller shall not be responsible for transit insurance after transfer of Risk of Loss in accordance with Section 15.4. Such insurance shall be provided by Buyer and provide coverage during loading the Equipment on any collecting transport and during transportation. and shall include Seller as loss payee.
