Transfers - Voluntary. 1. All known or anticipated vacancies for the subsequent school year shall be posted on or about March 15 of each year. Tenured bargaining unit members shall complete an application for transfer to any posted position or to a particular school whether or not a specific opening exists at that school at the time of the posting before the posting closes.

Transfers - Voluntary. An employee may submit to his/her supervisor, and to the Director or his/her designee, an expression of interest for a future transfer to a new or vacant position, should one occur. Neither the supervisor, nor the Director or his/her designee, shall have any responsibility to monitor new or vacant positions for the purpose of notifying an employee thereof, and the employee shall be solely responsible to apply for a new or vacant position when it occurs. When an employee applies for a transfer to a specific vacancy, consideration shall be given to an applicant’s educational background, relevant experience, and characteristics desired in the job available.
