Transfers - Voluntary. 1. All known or anticipated vacancies for the subsequent school year shall be posted on or about March 15 of each year. Tenured bargaining unit members shall complete an application for transfer to any posted position or to a particular school whether or not a specific opening exists at that school at the time of the posting before the posting closes.
Transfers - Voluntary. (A) Any teacher desiring a transfer shall submit a written request to the Superintendent stating the specific assignment or nature of the assignment desired.
Transfers - Voluntary. A teacher who desires to transfer from one teaching position to another shall make their desires known in writing to the Superintendent.

A Unit Member desiring a transfer for the following school year may request a change in assignment by submitting a request via the District’s Declaration of Intention Survey in January each school year. Any additional requests will be submitted by email to the Department of Human Resources by June 30th each year. Transfer requests shall be con- sidered valid until August 31st each year for placement in the new school year.
Transfers - Voluntary. 9.2.1 Any administrator interested in seeking a transfer (within his/her current division or to another division) should submit a letter to his/her supervisor and the Chief Administrative Officer notifying him/her of this intent (refer to section 9.1.7.1).
Transfers - Voluntary. Subd. 1. Teachers may apply for a transfer to a specified or unspecified location or assignment at any time during the school year. Transfer pertains to the movement of the members of the Association from one school site to another school site, but does not apply to a change in assignment at a particular school site nor to the assignment of a member of the Association to a particular classroom, grade level, or subject area. Changes in school assignment for teachers who are assigned to two (2) or more school sites or facilities shall not be considered transfers, providing they are still performing the same duties within the position.

Such request shall be acknowledged in writing. Each transfer applicant shall be notified of the status of their application by May 15 of the school year in which the request is made.

An employee may submit to his/her supervisor, and to the Director or his/her designee, an expression of interest for a future transfer to a new or vacant position, should one occur. Neither the supervisor, nor the Director or his/her designee, shall have any responsibility to monitor new or vacant positions for the purpose of notifying an employee thereof, and the employee shall be solely responsible to apply for a new or vacant position when it occurs. When an employee applies for a transfer to a specific vacancy, consideration shall be given to an applicant’s educational background, relevant experience, and characteristics desired in the job available.
Transfers - Voluntary. Any Association employee who seeks to transfer from his or her current position into a vacancy may apply for the vacancy pursuant to the procedure outlined in 14.1. Employee applicants will be interviewed and considered prior to outside applicants. Where more than one employee applicant is being considered for a transfer, seniority in the District shall be considered.
Transfers - Voluntary. The Association agrees that the Superintendent is authorized, under Board policy and the Education Code, to make assignments of all unit members to vacant positions based upon the needs of the students and District. A bargaining unit member may request a voluntary transfer in writing to the Superintendent. The unit member shall express preference for work location, grade levels, or desired subject discipline areas. The Superintendent shall attempt to honor requests for voluntary transfers when the training, experience, and the abilities of the requesting unit member match the vacant position job specifications by assuring that the unit member has a scheduled interview by the "Interview Team" established by Board policy to fill a teaching vacancy at the particular school requested by the unit member.
