Training Opportunities. 17.5.1 4.1 The Company agrees that opportunities for job training which would serve to equip employees for promotion to higher paid occupations within the bargaining unit will not be employed in such manner as to circumvent the seniority principles as set forth within this Article 16. 4.1.1 Job training herein means formal training and, as well, informal training by experience gained in temporary assignments to higher paid occupations within the bargaining unit.
