Traffic Noise. (i) Any habitable rooms at dwellings with a facade incident noise level in excess of 66dB LAeq 16h daytime (07h00 to 23h00); and
Traffic Noise. Developer shall document how they will address traffic noise mitigation. The documentation at a minimum shall include: • Process for carrying out noise mitigation measures as identified and discussed in the approved NEPA document and schematic, • Process for carrying out noise mitigation measures determined throughout the life of the project, • Process to handle changes that may occur to proposed permanent noise mitigation in the approved NEPA document and schematic.
Traffic Noise. The preliminary traffic noise walls proposed for construction will be determined by TxDOT during the environmental phase of the project, before contract award. TxDOT will approve construction of each proposed noise wall after further design, constructability assessment, and through the public involvement process (polling of adjacent property owners and (noise workshops) by the DB Contractor during the environmental phase of the project, before contract award. DB Contractor shall construct all approvedproposed noise walls, and construction of noise walls shall, to the extent feasible, be done in the early construction phases of the Project to help minimize construction noise. In the event that DB Contractor’s design requires a re-assessment of the traffic noise impacts, DB Contractor shall document how it will address traffic noise mitigation and how it will perform public involvement associated with noise mitigation (noise workshops). At a minimum, the documentation shall include:  Process for carrying out noise workshops and noise mitigation measures as identified and discussed in any supplemental noise studies completed by DB Contractor;  Processes for carrying out noise mitigation measures determined throughout the Term;  Process for carrying out noise mitigation measures determined throughout the life of the Project; and  Process to handle changes that may occur to proposed permanent noise mitigation in the TxDOT-Provided Approval and Schematic Design.
Traffic Noise. The ENGINEER shall perform a traffic noise analysis for a single Build Alternative in accordance with TxDOT’s Guidelines for Analysis and Abatement of Roadway Traffic Noise.
Traffic Noise a. The Engineer shall perform a traffic noise analysis in accordance with the current version of the State’s (FHWA approved) “Guidelines for Analysis and Abatement of Roadway Traffic Noise. Computer modeling shall be accomplished with the latest FHWA approved Traffic Noise Model (TNM) software program.  In accordance with TxDOT noise assessment guidelines, the roadway alignment for the existing year and 20-year design year will be computer simulated and future noise levels will be predicted at representative sensitive receiver locations using the TNM model, based on projected traffic numbers.  The noise analysis will include predicted noise impact contours at appropriate distances from the roadway project.  Noise abatement measures (if required) will be analyzed for potential incorporation into the proposed project. The location of such noise abatement measures is considered approximate pending engineering constraints and final design of the project.
Traffic Noise. In order to mitigate against operational traffic noise, the road surface over the entire project length will be constructed with surface material such that achieves compliance with the Transit New ZealandGuidelines for the Management of Road Traffic Noise – State Highway Improvements’ (December 1999).

Traffic Noise. 5.5.2.1 The potential traffic noise impacts affecting the identified NSRs are evaluated with the use of the computer model ”roadNoise”, which implements the calculation methods prescribed in ”Calculation of Road Traffic Noise (CRTN)”. Future worst case L10(1hr) traffic noise levels are predicted at the NSRs based on the peak hourly traffic data provided by the Traffic Consultant, MVA (Asia) Limited. The traffic data is given in Appendix 5.2.
