TOOLS AND UNIFORMS. The Employer shall supply: pipe wrenches, vices, taps and dies all electric tools all electric measuring instruments all machinist measuring instruments all air and gas measuring devices all gas containers all welding equipment, including wearing apparel and safety accessories specialty tools vacuum pumps power tools wrenches over 1" Each Journeyman, and Apprentice after completion of his first year, shall have and maintain a complete set of hand tools necessary to install air conditioning and/or equipment. Employees will not supply tools listed in The employee will supply to the Employer at the time of employment a list of personal tools as mentioned in Article It will be the responsibility of the employee to keep the list up to date for the purpose of replacement as outlined in Article Those tools supplied by the Employer will be maintained by the Employer. If these tools are lost or damaged, through the negligence of the Employer or other employees, then the Employer is responsible for the repair or replacing same. Those tools supplied by the employee will be maintained by the employee. Safety boots will be supplied by the Employer at no cost to the employee, up to a maximum amount of If an employee’s tools are lost due to fire, flood, or forcible entry of job box, job shack or vehicle, etc., management must be notified immediately. Listed personal tools as required in Article (to a maximum value of $1,500.00) will be replaced immediately by the Employer. In the event of theft by forcible entry, the police and management must he notified immediately.
TOOLS AND UNIFORMS. 8.6.1 The District agrees to provide tools, equipment and supplies necessary for unit members to perform employment duties (including hair nets, aprons, gloves, personal tools, etc.). If a particular job would result in damage or destruction of personal clothing of bargaining unit members, the District shall provide coveralls and/or protective clothing. Such expenses shall be borne by the District.
TOOLS AND UNIFORMS. 32.1 Policy Mechanics are expected to provide a "basic mechanic's hand set" of tools necessary to satisfactorily perform their work. The parties agree that the term "basic mechanic's hand set" is a term of art within the mechanic craft that defines the minimum tools required to perform successfully as a mechanic. If the Employer finds that employees are not providing adequate tools within the meaning of this term of art, the Employer and the Union will enter into negotiations to establish a minimum tool list. The Employer will also provide a tool allowance for mechanics to compensate the replacement of tools, including tool boxes, in the following circumstances: loss, disappearance, breakage without warranty, wear and tear, obsolescence, and/or innovation in design.
TOOLS AND UNIFORMS. 7.1 The City and the IBEW mutually agree that the City will supply necessary tools and equipment for employees in accordance with the following procedure. Each eligible permanent and probationary employee required to provide tools for his/her job and holding a classification listed below shall receive a tool allowance of $600 on his/her first paycheck in January: Airport Equipment Mechanic Auto & Equipment Specialist Auto & Equipment Technician I Auto & Equipment Technician II Xxxxxxxxx Cement Xxxxx Electrician Facilities Maintenance Technician HVAC Mechanic Irrigation Systems Technician Locksmith Painter Parks/Construction Maintenance Technician Plumber Revenue Equipment Technician Senior Airport Equipment Mechanic Senior Revenue Equipment Technician Skilled Trades Worker Sr. Electrician Sr. Facility Maintenance Technician Sr. HVAC Mechanic Sr. Maintenance Worker Traffic Systems Technician Welder *Corresponding classifications designated as CDL will be eligible for the tool allowance as outlined in the article. The department head or his/her designee will provide these employees a list of tools required for their positions. The department head shall notify, by December 31, Xxxxx County Human Resources and the Union of these employees required to provide tools and the list of tools they are required to provide.
TOOLS AND UNIFORMS. 13.01 Employees shall supply their own tools as set out in Schedule “B” of this Agreement. Employees who show up at jobsites without the required tools will be sent off the jobsite without pay by the Employer in order to retrieve them.
TOOLS AND UNIFORMS. The Employer shall not require bargaining unit members to furnish their own tools or work implements in order to perform their duties. The Employer shall provide uniforms to all bargaining unit members required to wear prescribed apparel.
TOOLS AND UNIFORMS. Employees who are required by the Employer, in writing, to furnish their own tools will receive a tool allowance of forty dollars ($40.00) per pay period. The Borough will furnish uniforms to all employees who are required by the Employer to wear uniforms or part of a uniform, including cold weather boots and gear (hats, gloves, underclothes, etc.). The Borough will also furnish all employer required safety clothing and supplies. Uniforms, safety clothing and supplies issued by the Employer remain the property of the Employer and shall be used only in the course of said employment. Employees shall return all issued items to the Employer at the termination of employment, or reimburse the Employer for the replacement cost of such issued items.
