Tobacco Cessation Sample Clauses

The Tobacco Cessation clause establishes requirements or provisions related to the discontinuation of tobacco use, often within the context of health plans, employment policies, or wellness programs. Typically, this clause outlines eligibility for tobacco cessation support, such as counseling, medication coverage, or incentives for employees or insured individuals who participate in approved cessation programs. Its core practical function is to encourage and support individuals in quitting tobacco, thereby promoting better health outcomes and potentially reducing healthcare costs for employers or insurers.
