Title of Series Property Clause Samples
The "Title of Series Property" clause establishes which party holds legal ownership of a series property, such as a television show, film franchise, or book series. Typically, this clause specifies whether the producer, creator, or commissioning entity retains the rights to the title and related intellectual property, and may outline any limitations or exceptions to this ownership. By clearly defining title ownership, the clause prevents future disputes over rights, ensures proper attribution, and facilitates licensing, merchandising, or further development of the series.
