Title I Schools Clause Samples

Title I Schools. Regular Needs and Special Needs Instructional paraprofessionals in Title I schools who meet the agreed upon assessment criteria to satisfy the Elementary/Secondary Education Act (ESEA) requirements for instructional paraprofessional, will also be placed in Column IV of the Instructional Paraprofessional for Regular needs or Special Needs Salary Schedule upon official verification of compliance by Human Resources. Once all Title I instructional paraprofessionals meet the highly qualified criteria, paraprofessionals at non-Title I schools may volunteer to become highly qualified by meeting the assessment criteria. When qualifications are verified, they will be placed in a pool of highly qualified paraprofessionals. Once placed at a Title I school, the paraprofessional will be placed on Column IV of the Instructional Paraprofessional for Regular Needs or Special Needs Salary Schedule.
Title I Schools. In accordance with Florida Statute 1012.22, 25 instructional staff assigned to a Title I School will be eligible for a 26 supplement in the amount of $100.00.
Title I Schools. With guidance from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Title I schools are iden- tified yearly by MCPS based upon high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet state and local academic standards. The parties recognize the importance of having dedicated, highly-qualified administrators that can lead a Title I school with a focus on academic benchmarks and family engagement goals.
