Timeshare. The Lot or any part thereof shall not be made subject to any type of share arrangement or timeshare programme, interval ownership or similar project whereby the right to exclusive use of the Lot or any buildings thereon or part thereof rotates among multiple owners or members of the share arrangement or timeshare programme on a fixed or floating time schedule over a period of years or indefinitely.
Timeshare. Either (i) a fee simple interval interest in a particular Unit, Resort or Phase thereof, as more specifically described in the Applicable Underlying Declaration, or (ii) a certificate evidencing an ownership interest in the Oak N' Spruce Resort Trust, issued as described in the Oak N' Spruce Declaration of Trust. Timeshare includes any every other year (biennial) timeshare interest.
Timeshare. In further consideration for the services of DR hereunder, upon execution hereof, DR shall be granted a continuing one-week timeshare interest at the "Stonehouse" lodging at the Hotel, which shall not be subject to any yearly dues or other costs or assessments. Concurrently herewith and as a condition precedent to DR's obligations hereunder, ILX shall deed to DR and record in DR's name such timeshare interest.
Timeshare. As soon as practicable after the execution of these Articles, the Partnership shall enter into a relationship with RSCI whereby RSCI shall purchase creditworthy timeshare interval notes from the Partnership under terms mutually agreeable to the Partnership and RSCI.
Timeshare. Timeshare revenue principally consists of exchange fees and subscription revenue. Exchange fees are recognized as revenue when the exchange request has been confirmed to the subscribing members. Subscription revenue represents the fees from subscribing members. There is no separate fee charged for the participation in the timeshare exchange network. Beginning on January 1, 2000, subscription revenue is recognized as revenue on a straight line basis over the subscription period during which delivery of publications and other services are provided to the subscribing members. Prior to 2000, the Company recognized subscription revenue as discussed in "Changes in Accounting Policy." Subscriptions are cancelable and refundable on a pro rata basis. Subscription procurement costs are expensed as incurred. Such costs were $32 million, $31 million and $31 million for 2000, 1999 and 1998.
