Common use of Time Off for Selection Procedures Clause in Contracts

Time Off for Selection Procedures. An employee shall be entitled to necessary time off with pay to participate in tests of fitness, examinations and interviews required by the appointing authority, or the Director of Human Resources if such procedures are scheduled during the employee's working hours for the purpose of determining eligibility for movement to another class in County service or transfer from one (1) County agency/department to another. If such procedures are not scheduled during the employee's working hours, time spent by the employee is not compensated in any way.
