TIME OFF FOR MEALS. All unit members working the normal work week set forth in this Article shall be entitled to an unpaid, duty-free meal break of no more than sixty (60) minutes, scheduled approximately near the middle of the work shift, unless otherwise mutually agreed with the unit member(s) involved. Unit members whose assigned daily work schedule is five (5) hours or less may elect to work their total shift without a lunch period with the prior approval of the supervisor.

TIME OFF FOR MEALS. An Employee who works a minimum of two (2) hours overtime after the end of his/her eight (8) hour shift, shall receive a meal voucher worth ten dollars ($10.00) and shall be allowed a one-half (1/2) hour paid meal break at straight time. An Employee shall be allowed one half (1/2) hour with pay at straight time for a meal break, plus a ten dollar ($10.00) meal voucher for every four (4) hours overtime worked, in addition to the two (2) hours of overtime mentioned in the preceding paragraph. The above provisions shall also apply to call-outs.
TIME OFF FOR MEALS. An employee who works a minimum of two (2) hours overtime after the end of his regular eight (8) hour shift shall receive a meal allowance of ten dollars ($10.00) and shall be allowed a one-half (½) hour paid meal break at straight time after the two (2) hours worked. An employee shall be allowed one half (½) hour with pay at straight time for a meal break, plus ten dollars ($10.00) meal allowance for every four (4) hours overtime worked in addition to the two (2) hours of overtime mentioned in the preceding paragraph.
TIME OFF FOR MEALS. All employees covered by this Agreement shall receive not less than 30 minutes and not more than one hour meal time, scheduled at approximately the mid-point in the work day.

  • Time Off for Meetings Any representative of the Union on this Committee, or their alternate, who is in the employ of the Employer, shall have the privilege of attending meetings of the Committee held within working hours without loss of remuneration, provided that the Senior Administrator has prior notice.

  • Time Off for Meeting Any representative of the Union or the Bargaining Team, who is in the employ of the Employer, shall have the right to attend bargaining meetings with the Employer held within working hours without loss of remuneration.

  • Time Off for Union Activities A. Conventions and Conferences Union-designated employees may be allowed time off without pay to attend union-sponsored conventions or conferences. Approval for the time off must be granted in advance of the absence and in accordance with the Employer’s leave policies. Approval will not be granted if the absence interferes with the Employer’s ability to provide coverage during the requested time off or the operating needs of the agency cannot be met.

  • TIME OFF FOR VOTING 116. If an employee does not have sufficient time to vote outside of working hours, the employee may request so much time off as will allow time to vote, in accordance with the State Election Code.

  • Time Off for Union Business Leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority will be granted:

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within ninety (90) calendar days of the work week in which the overtime was earned or, with the employee’s agreement, within 12 months of that work week.

  • Leave Without Pay for Personal Needs Leave without pay will be granted for personal needs, in the following manner:

  • LAY-OFFS AND RECALLS In the event of a lay-off, employees within the affected level shall be laid-off in reverse order of their bargaining unit seniority. An employee to be laid-off will be allowed to bump any employee with less seniority who is in an equal or lower level, provided that the senior employee is qualified to fill the position of the displaced employee.

  • Eligibility for Sick Leave with Pay Employees shall be eligible for sick leave with pay immediately upon accrual.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.
