Time for Protest Clause Samples
The "Time for Protest" clause establishes a specific period within which a party must formally raise objections or concerns regarding an action, decision, or condition under the contract. Typically, this clause requires that any protest be submitted in writing within a set number of days after the event or notification that gives rise to the concern, such as a disputed invoice or a change in project scope. By defining a clear deadline for protests, the clause ensures timely communication of issues, prevents indefinite delays, and helps both parties address and resolve disputes efficiently.
Time for Protest. The submission of a protest about the award of a contract, as a result of an RFP, RFQ or Bid, to the Director of Procurement must be made no later than ten (10) calendar days of approval of Notice of Award.
