Common use of Threats Clause in Contracts

Threats. Any employee who is threatened with physical harm by any person or group while carrying out assigned duties shall immediately notify his/her supervisor or other District administrator. Steps shall be taken in cooperation with the employee to provide for the employee's safety, including contacting law enforcement authorities, if appropriate. Action taken must be communicated to at least the affected employee(s) and the Association President within 48 hours of the incident by the Superintendent.
