Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.
PROFESSIONAL GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE A. A claim by a teacher or the Association that there has been a violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of any provision of this Agreement or any rule, order or regulation of the Board may be processed as a grievance as hereinafter provided.
Outside Professional Activities (a) For the purpose of this article, "outside professional activities" means participation in the activities of professional associations, learned societies, faculty associations, or voluntary practice of the employee’s profession, which support and/or promote the advancement of research, scholarship, teaching, artistic creation, or professional development, and improve the working conditions of academic staff.

Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members.

Advice of the Fund and Service Providers If ALPS is in doubt as to any action it should or should not take, ALPS may request directions, advice, or instructions from the Fund or, as applicable, the Fund’s investment adviser, custodian, or other service providers.
JOINT CONSULTATION 31.01 The parties acknowledge the mutual benefits to be derived from meaningful and effective joint consultation and will consult on matters of common interest.
