Common use of The Employer Clause in Contracts

The Employer. recognizes the importance of the role of unit members in the selection process of unit members; provided, however, that unit members shall also participate in the selection process of administrators where they are currently allowed to do so pursuant to an established and continuous college-wide past practice or written College rule; provided further that the President of the College shall select unit members to serve on selection committees for these purposes after first consulting with the members of the appropriate division/department/work area. This section (4A.02) shall not apply to part-time unit members.
