Common use of The Custodian Clause in Contracts

The Custodian. Any Custodian in acting hereunder shall be subject to the directions of the Depositary and shall be responsible solely to it. The Depositary may from time to time appoint one or more agents to act for it as Custodian hereunder. Each Custodian so appointed (other than JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.) shall give written notice to the Company and the Depositary accepting such appointment and agreeing to be bound by the applicable terms hereof. Any Custodian may resign from its duties hereunder by at least 30 days written notice to the Depositary. The Depositary may discharge any Custodian at any time upon notice to the Custodian being discharged.
