THE AGENDA. TRANSITIONAL MEASURES FOR THE EARLY APPLICATION OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED COTONOU AGREEMENT [(ACP-CE 2128/05 ACP/../../05)] Further to consultations held by the ACP side, the Council adopted the Decision on transitional measures (ACP-CE 2128/05). - The following statement would be annexed to the Decision: "Each of the parties will endeavour to implement the procedure for ratifying the revised Cotonou Agreement within 18 months of the signing of the revised Agreement, with due regard for national and Community responsibilities and procedures.". - Article 1(2) was amended as follows: "establishing the availability of the financial resources, set out in figures, as referred to in the Articles concerned".

  • Agenda The co-chairs will meet seven (7) days prior to each meeting to exchange agendas for that meeting. The items in the agendas will be listed in order of priority. The Company will arrange to have both agendas typed and distributed to Committee members prior to the meeting. Items from the agendas will be discussed at the meeting on an alternating basis with the first item being taken from either the Company's or the Union's agenda, depending on which party is chairing the meeting. Items not addressed at a meeting may be re-proposed for the next meeting's agendas. Emergency items arising after the agendas are prepared can be entertained on the agreement of the parties at the outset of the meeting. An item on the agendas may be disposed of by referral to a more appropriate forum or cancelled, by mutual agreement of the parties. The Union Representative who will be responsible for proposing the next list of Union agenda items will be identified at the conclusion of each meeting.

  • Board Agenda The BTU-TSP may appear on the Board agenda to discuss Board business not in violation of labor laws.

  • Notice of Board Meetings A Director may, and the Secretary on the requisition of a Director shall, at any time summon a meeting of the Board. Notice of a meeting of the Board shall be deemed to be duly given to a Director if it is given to such Director verbally (in person or by telephone) or otherwise communicated or sent to such Director by post, cable, telex, telecopier, facsimile, electronic mail or other mode of representing words in a legible form at such Director's last known address or any other address given by such Director to the Company for this purpose.

  • NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETINGS 20.1 At least five clear days’ notice shall be given of any general meeting. Every notice shall specify the place, the day and the hour of the meeting and the general nature of the business to be conducted at the general meeting and shall be given in the manner hereinafter mentioned or in such other manner if any as may be prescribed by the Company, provided that a general meeting of the Company shall, whether or not the notice specified in this Article has been given and whether or not the provisions of the Articles regarding general meetings have been complied with, be deemed to have been duly convened if it is so agreed:

  • Frequency of Meetings The Joint Research and Development Committee shall meet at least once (1) time per quarter or more or less often as otherwise agreed by the Parties, but in no event less than twice annually and such meetings may be conducted by telephone, videoconference or in person as determined by the Co-Chairpersons. As appropriate, and provided that not less than two (2) Business Days’ prior written notice has been given to the other Party, other employees of the Parties may attend Joint Steering Committee meetings as observers, but a Party shall not bring a Third Party to a meeting without the other Party’s prior consent. Each Party may also call for special meetings of the Joint Research and Development Committee with reasonable prior written notice (it being agreed that at least ten (10) Business Days shall constitute reasonable notice) to resolve particular matters requested by such Party and within the decision-making responsibility of the Joint Research and Development Committee. Each Co-Chairperson shall ensure that its Joint Research and Development Committee members receive adequate notice of such meetings.

  • Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential.

  • Telephonic Meetings Unless otherwise restricted by the Certificate of Incorporation or these Bylaws, members of the Board of Directors, or any committee designated by the Board of Directors, may participate in a meeting of the Board of Directors, or any committee, by means of conference telephone or similar communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other, and such participation in a meeting shall constitute presence in person at such meeting.

  • PROCEEDINGS AT GENERAL MEETINGS 23. No business shall be transacted at any meeting unless a quorum is present. A Member counts towards the quorum by being present either in person or by proxy. Two persons entitled to vote upon the business to be transacted, each being a Member or a proxy of a Member or a duly authorised representative of a Member organisation shall constitute a quorum.

  • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.

  • Meeting Agendas Each Party will disclose to the other proposed agenda items along with appropriate information at least three (3) business days in advance of each meeting of the applicable Committee; provided, that a Party may provide its agenda items to the other Party within a lesser period of time in advance of the meeting, or may propose that there not be a specific agenda for a particular meeting, so long as such other Party consents to such later addition of such agenda items or the absence of a specific agenda for such Committee meeting.
