TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE. The hirer agrees to act in the best interests of the Raglan Community Arts Council and the Old School Arts Centre and any other users at all times during the period of the hire.  A non-refundable initial payment of $30.00 is required immediately upon booking.  The balance is due one week prior to the event and/or upon date of key collection  A bond of up to $100 may be required. This will be refunded in full unless damage occurs or additional cleaning is required.  In the event that the centre supervisor deems that damage has occurred the bond will be forfeited and any additional repair costs charged to the hirer. * The venue is to be left ready for use, which includes vacuuming, mopping where necessary, wiping clean all surfaces used, cleaning the toilets and bathroom facilities, removing all garbage and recycling both inside and out. You may nominate to have the venue cleaned for you at an additional charge of $100 incl. GST. NB: If you have chosen the self-clean option and it is deemed by the centre supervisor that the venue needs further cleaning following your event, you hereby undertake to pay the fee or have it deducted from your commission. * The kitchen facilities in the Foyer are available for self-catering use. The hirer is responsible for the supply of all catering requirements and the removal of all foodstuffs and catering equipment after the function. This includes ensuring there are no food scraps left in the building, the refrigerator is left clean and all dishes should be washed and put away.  If you are using the venue over several days, you may apply to the Raglan Community Arts Council to store any materials you require. The storage of materials must be approved in advance.  The Raglan Old School Arts Centre will retain on hold all unclaimed/unidentified money for 90 days; thereafter any unclaimed/unidentified money will be banked as a donation to the Raglan Old School Arts Centre.  Callout fee of $50.00 payable if the Arts Council is called out for open windows, lights left on, or inappropriate alarm callout. The Raglan Community Arts Council, who operate the Old School Arts Centre, Xxxxxxx St, Raglan, take all care with hirers/exhibitors property, however they are in no way responsible for it. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE. If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, a representative from Plymouth Bouncy Castles should immediately be consulted. THE HIRER will, during the period of the hiring, be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its care, safety from damage however slight of any sort, and the behavior of all persons of all ages using the equipment whatever their capacity, including proper supervision of children to ensure children under school age use the equipment separately to older children or adults. MAXIMUM AGE allowed to use this equipment is years and under, failure to observe this limit at any time during the hire period will render the hirer liable for associated repair costs. THE HIRER shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hiring agreement, and shall not sub-hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way, nor allow anyone onto the equipment wearing shoes, spectacles, carrying sharp objects, key- rings, metal studded clothing or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the equipment. No food or drink is to be taken onto or consumed on the equipment. No Party Poppers, Coloured streamers or Silly String should be taken, thrown or sprayed onto the equipment, these materials permanently stain the material and the hirer will be liable to compensate Plymouth Bouncy Castles in the event of damage. THE HIRER shall be deemed to have inspected the equipment and to have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless he/she brings to the attention of Plymouth Bouncy Castles when it is set up and checked by the hirer when coming in to possession of the equipment any faults noted by the Hirer. THE HIRE PERIOD unless otherwise agreed is from delivery until or after at the discretion of Plymouth Bouncy Castles any obstruction by the hirer or their guests causing unnecessary delay will be charged at £35 per hour or part of. IMPORTANT NOTICE provided that the equipment is used in accordance with the above guidelines and conditions of hire, those using the inflatable should do so safely. However, accidents can happen. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE. 1. Shall upon booking pay a deposit to secure your choice, your castle MUST be paid for in full before you take it. DO NOT under any circumstances get the castle and equipment wet. If the weather is too bad on the day of hire DO NOT use the castle at all and we will refund the cost of the hire minus a $30 deposit value. A refund is given once Video Tech Staff have checked that the castle has not been used. Refund will be made by direct credit to the bank account of the person who made the booking. Please note: we do not keep cash on site so cash cannot be refunded.

The hirer acknowledges if hiring an outdoor venue (e.g. reserve) there is non-exclusive access to the space. For indoor venues, the hirer will have exclusive use to the portion of the venue hired (e.g. meeting room). Consideration must be shown at all times to all other users and adjacent residents. Activities must not obstruct or exclude use to others of any equipment, structures or pathways. A police officer or authorised Council Officer shall have access to the space at any time and the hirer shall confirm to and obey all reasonable directions given by the authorised person in regard to the use of the space. Neither the Council nor its employees shall be liable for any loss or damage sustained by the hirer or any person, firm or corporation entrusting to or supplying any article or thing to the hirer by reason of any such article or thing being lost, damaged or stolen. The hirer hereby indemnifies Council against any claim by any such person, form or corporation in respect of such article or thing. Motor vehicles may not be driven onto the confines of the reserve or council grounds (excluding carparks) without prior permission from Council. All vehicles are to be driven and parked so that no damage is caused to the reserve or the detriment of the public. A motor vehicle driven or parked on the confines of the reserve/council ground or carpark is entirely at the owners risk and no responsibility is accepted by the Council for any theft or damage. The hirer shall not write on, decorate, placard, cut damage or xxxxxx with nails screws or any other contrivances to structures or any trees within the reserve without permission from an authorised Council Officer. The hirer shall be responsible for all damage caused to the council structures, equipment or land arising out of, or in relation to the hiring engagement, unless in circumstances where Council has been negligent, during the period of hire and will be required to pay the costs of all repairs. The hirer is responsible for placing all rubbish and litter resulting from its activities in bins provided. Larger items and excessive amounts of rubbish are the hirers responsibility to dispose of by alternative means.
