Terminal Vacation. An employee who is in good standing and who is entitled to vacation days with pay when his/her contract with the Board of Education is terminated shall be granted those days of vacation with pay (not to exceed one and one-half (1 1/2) years of earned vacation credit), provided the employee gives written notice of his/her intention to resign to the employer at least two full weeks prior to the beginning of the proposed terminal vacation, and provided the vacation days are taken before the effective date of the resignation.
