Tenure on Appointment Sample Clauses
The 'Tenure on Appointment' clause defines the duration or term for which an individual is appointed to a specific position or role. Typically, this clause specifies whether the appointment is for a fixed period, subject to renewal, or continues at the discretion of the appointing authority. For example, it may state that a director serves a three-year term or that an employee's contract is ongoing unless terminated under certain conditions. The core function of this clause is to provide clarity and certainty regarding the length and conditions of service, helping both parties understand their commitments and expectations.
