Tenure Decision. (a) By the end of six (6) years of full-time or equivalent part-time service at the University, including time credited as tenure-eligible service, a faculty member eligible for tenure shall either be awarded tenure by the Trustees or given notice that further employment will not be offered pursuant to the non-reappointment provisions of this Agreement. This shall not apply where the faculty member has been extended additional time pursuant to Section 19.7(a)(6).
