Tendering Procedures. 1. Each Party shall ensure that its procuring entities award their contracts by tendering procedures in accordance with its laws and regulations, in compliance with this Chapter. 2. Each Party shall ensure that its procuring entities do not provide to any supplier information with regard to a specific procurement in a manner which would have the effect of precluding competition. 3. Each Party shall ensure that its procuring entities conduct procurement in a transparent and impartial manner that: (a) is consistent with this Chapter; (b) avoids conflicts of interest; and (c) prevents corrupt practices.
