Common use of TEMPORARY WATER Clause in Contracts

TEMPORARY WATER. A. The Contractor shall provide temporary lines for all water required during the Project and shall make arrangements with the Owner's Administrative Facilities and Campus Operations Department for water service. This shall include all means of conveying and the necessary metering devices. In lieu of temporary connections, with the Owner’s approval, the Contractor may make permanent connections and such may serve for the construction period. B. In the event water is not available at the Site from the Owner's existing distribution system, the Contractor shall negotiate with the local distributor for water and pay all fees and rates required by the local water utility.
