Temporary Supervisor. ‌ 26.1 When Created A temporary supervisor position may be created when the requirements and/or the operational needs require the temporary assignment of an employee to a supervisory position due to a long-term absence or other unforeseen vacancy, or operational needs within the supervisor positions. Notice of the temporary supervisor position will be posted in the department where the vacancy exists and candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be interviewed.‌
