Temporary Promotion, Transfer, Demotion, Reassignment. An employee granted a temporary promotion, transfer or demotion shall return to his/her former job and pay rate without loss of seniority and accrued benefits when the temporary promotion, transfer or demotion terminates. When an employee is temporarily reassigned for operational reasons, the most junior qualified employee that results in the least disruption to the work environment will be selected. An employee temporarily reassigned shall return to his/her own position as soon as operationally possible.
