Temporary Leaves. For new employees who start after the commencement of the normal contract year, all leaves will be pro-rated based on their hire date. Starting Month Percent of Leave July, August, September 100% October, November, December 75% January, February, March 50% April, May, June 25% For currently contracted employees all leaves are available on the initial day of the contract year. However, should employment terminate prior to the end of the contract year, all leave will be prorated based on the above chart. Any leave taken in excess of the prorated amount will be reimbursed to the district as a deduction from the employee’s last paycheck.
