Temporary Leave With Pay. Notwithstanding the provisions of this Article, upon the recommendation of the Human Resources Director, the City Manager may approve the temporary assignment of an employee to a status of leave with pay, pending conduct or completion of such investigations or hearings as may be required to determine if disciplinary action is to be taken.
