Temporaries. The supervisor shall make a determination as to whether a temporary is required in the case of a long-term absence of an employee. However, the decision of the supervisor shall be final.

A temporary nurse who transfers to permanent status will be deemed to have served her probationary period of 910 hours during his/her temporary position unless he/she has worked less than the 910 hours. If retained after the probabtionary period, the permanent nurse shall be credited with seniority and service from his/her date of hire.

Temporaries. Temporary employees are defined as non-certified employees utilized to supplement existing staff. There shall be excluded from the category of temporary employees all persons/students engaged in summer work, work study or CETA programs. If the Bank has been unable to fill a position internally and a temporary worker is currently in the open position, then a temporary worker, if qualified, may be offered full-time employment after the twelve (12) week period (420 hours). In the monthly report to the Union of temporary workers referenced in ARTICLE II, Section (d,) the Employer will provide the temporary worker’s name, position filled, time in position and current status of position.
Temporaries. The Company may use a maximum of ten (10) temporaries or part-time employees at one time for no more than sixty (60) days at a time. These temporaries or part time employees would not be eligible for any benefits and would not be eligible for any overtime work if the full time employees are not working overtime.
