Workloads (a) The parties agree that patient care is enhanced if concerns relating to professional practice, patient acuity, fluctuating Work-Loads and fluctuating staffing are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
Hour Tours If the Hospital wishes to introduce a 7.5 hour tour, the parties will meet to discuss implementation and to negotiate the appropriate scheduling regulations.
Hour Shift A ten (10) hour tour shall be inclusive of an unpaid thirty-seven and one half (37.5) minute meal period and two fifteen (15) minute paid relief periods.
Bumping i) Displaced employees can elect to bump to a position in line with seniority (subject to (c) (ii) below), provided the displaced employee has the capabilities and qualifications to perform the duties of the selected position.
Workforce A. The Contractor shall employ only orderly and competent workers, skilled in the performance of the services which they will perform under the Contract.
Evacuation (1) If the Combatant Commander orders a mandatory evacuation of some or all personnel, the Government will provide assistance, to the extent available, to United States and third country national contractor personnel.
Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.
Progressive Discipline Both parties endorse the principle of progressive discipline as applied to professionals.
Shiftwork 38.1 Shift Penalties (Excluding Home Care Classifications)
Retrenchment At any time during an individual’s service, the individual may be subject to retrenchment in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of the Agreement. In such cases, the notice provisions and all other terms of that article shall apply, anything above to the contrary notwithstanding.
